What supported accommodation includes

Practical, day-to-day support for young people aged 16–18, delivered in small homes with staff on site around the clock.

The support model

Every young person has a personal plan, built with them and their social worker before they move in. It covers education or work, health, money, family contact and the practical skills they need for their own tenancy. Plans are reviewed regularly with the placing authority.

Support is practical and routine-based: cooking together, getting to college, attending appointments, managing a weekly budget. As confidence grows, staff step back deliberately so independence is real, not theoretical.

Staffing

Each home is staffed 24 hours a day, with waking staff overnight. The team is led by our Registered Service Manager and every member of staff holds, or is working towards, a relevant childcare qualification. All staff have enhanced DBS checks and receive regular safeguarding training.

We keep staff-to-young-person ratios low so relationships stay consistent. The same key worker supports a young person throughout their placement.
